Figure 1 contains the summary of the of the input and calculated properties of the simulation

Answer

  1. The mass enthalpy of saturated steam at 200 kPa is -13200 kJ/kg.
  2. The mass enthalpy of saturated steam at 350 °Cis -13200 kJ/kg.
  3. The mass enthalpy of superheated steam at  750 °C and 1000 bar  is -12400kJ/kg.

Discussion

The enthalpy results obtained by using the Peng-Robinson EOS appears similar to that found by using the ASME steam property package. However, when the two results compared with 4 significant figure, there is a difference. Figure 2 contains the results obtained from using the ASME steam properties.
